Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 10, Verse 35
Of Sâmas also I am the Brihat-Sâma, of metres Gâyatri am I; of months I am Mârgashirsha, of seasons the flowery season.
Spring earns its place here for a real, felt reason, it's described as when nature itself seems to burst back to life.
Each example in this verse, hymn, meter, month, season, is chosen for something people already recognize as genuinely beautiful or fitting. Real, ordinary appreciation is being pointed straight back to its actual source.
