Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 13, Verse 18

The Light even of lights, It is said to be beyond darkness; Knowledge, and the One Thing to be known, the Goal of knowledge, dwelling in the hearts of all.

Even light itself is named here as borrowed, a real source behind every other source of illumination.

Calling this presence the origin of all luminaries, and also knowledge itself, its object, and its goal, stacks three real roles into one. Nothing about understanding, in the end, is described as separate from this source.
