Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 14, Verse 16
The fruit of good action, they say, is Sâttvika and pure; verily, the fruit of Rajas is pain, and ignorance is the fruit of Tamas.
What each force produces is named here in real, direct terms, purity, pain, or darkness, not vague outcomes.
Krishna ties each guṇa to its own specific fruit rather than leaving the consequences abstract. Real cause and real effect are matched clearly, one to one.
