Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 16, Verse 22

The man who has got beyond these three gates of darkness, O son of Kunti, practises what is good for himself, and thus goes to the Goal Supreme.

Real freedom from just three things is named here as enough to open the whole path forward.

Krishna doesn't ask for a complicated program, escaping these three specific gates is described as sufficient on its own. Real simplicity, again, defines the solution.
