Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 63

From anger comes delusion, and from delusion, loss of memory. From loss of memory comes the ruin of understanding, and from that ruin, he is lost.

One angry moment can quietly wreck a lot more than the moment itself.

This continues the chain from the verse before it: anger fogs judgment, foggy judgment scrambles memory, and once that goes, clear thinking goes with it. What looks like a small emotional spike can end up costing someone their whole sense of direction.
