From food come forth all beings; from rain, food is produced; from Yajna arises rain, and Yajna is born of Karma.

Trace anything back far enough, and it connects to something much bigger than just you.

Krishna lays out a whole chain here, one thing depending on the next, all the way back to people simply doing what's theirs to do. Nothing in this picture exists in isolation, everything is quietly holding up something else.
