Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4, Verse 24

The process is Brahman, the clarified butter is Brahman, offered by Brahman in the fire of Brahman; by seeing Brahman in action, he reaches Brahman alone.

At a certain depth, everything involved in the act, giver, gift, and receiver, starts to feel like part of one and the same thing.

This verse pushes the idea of offering to its furthest point. Someone that absorbed doesn't just perform an act of devotion, they stop experiencing any real separation between themselves, the act, and what it's offered to.
