Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4, Verse 6
Though I am unborn, of changeless nature, and Lord of beings, yet subjugating My Prakriti, I come into being by My own Maya.
Taking a form here doesn't actually limit what was never bound to begin with.
This clarifies how the last verse is even possible. Being present in this world in a real, visible form doesn't contradict the deeper, unborn, imperishable nature underneath it, that appearance is described as a deliberate choice, not a limitation.
