Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 16
But whose ignorance is destroyed by the knowledge of Self, that knowledge of theirs, like the sun, reveals the Supreme Brahman.
Nothing new gets added when real understanding arrives, it's more like something that was always there suddenly becomes visible.
The sunrise image is deliberate: the sun doesn't create the landscape it lights up, it was already there in the dark. Real insight works the same way, revealing what was always present rather than manufacturing something new.
