Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 8, Verse 25
Smoke, night-time, the dark fortnight, the six months of the Southern passage of the sun, taking this path the Yogi, attaining the lunar light, returns.
The other real path is described just as concretely, and just as honestly: it leads somewhere real, but not somewhere final.
Smoke, night, the dark half of the month, these mark a genuine route too, one that reaches the moon's light rather than lasting liberation. Nothing here treats this path as a failure, only as one that circles back.
