Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 9, Verse 4
All this world is pervaded by Me in My unmanifested form: all beings exist in Me, but I do not dwell in them.
Everything is described as resting in this presence, even while that presence stays untouched by any of it.
This names a real, paradoxical relationship. Full pervasion doesn't mean full entanglement, the text draws a real, careful line between being everywhere and being affected by everything.
