Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 11, Verse 17

I see You with diadem, club, and discus; a mass of radiance shining everywhere, very hard to look at, all around blazing like burning fire and sun, and immeasurable.

This brilliance is described as real and almost too much, hard to look at directly even while being witnessed.

The vision doesn't dim itself for comfort, its light is compared to the sun blazing from every direction at once. Real intensity is part of what makes this moment so overwhelming.
