Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 11, Verse 20
The space betwixt heaven and earth and all the quarters are filled by You alone; having seen this, Your marvellous and awful Form, the three worlds are trembling with fear, O Great-souled One.
Something usually thought of as steady, the space between heaven and earth, is described here as genuinely shaking.
Fear this real and this widespread, reaching all three worlds at once, tells Arjun something about the true scale of what he's witnessing. Nothing nearby is described as unaffected.
