Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 11, Verse 26-27

All these sons of Dhritarâshtra, with hosts of monarchs, Bhishma, Drona, and Sutaputra, with the warrior chiefs of ours, enter precipitately into Your mouth, terrible with tusks and fearful to behold. Some are found sticking in the interstices of Your teeth, with their heads crushed to powder.

What Arjun sees here isn't abstract, it's real, specific people, named individuals rushing toward a real end, and the vision doesn't look away from the hardest details either.

Naming Bhishma, Drona, and Sutaputra by name keeps this vision from staying symbolic. Real, personal stakes are folded directly into the cosmic scale of what's being shown, and warriors' heads being crushed is named plainly rather than implied or skipped past.
