Behold the Adityas, the Vasus, the Rudras, the twin Ashvins, and the Maruts; behold, O descendant of Bharata, many wonders never seen before.

Beings usually seen as separate, real gods in their own right, are shown here folded into one larger form.

Naming so many distinct celestial figures at once makes the point plainly, what looked like many separate powers turns out to be fragments of a single, real source. Nothing on this list stands fully apart.
