Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 14, Verse 3

My womb is the great Prakriti; in that I place the germ; from thence, O descendant of Bharata, is the birth of all beings.

A real, physical image is used here, a womb and a seed, to describe how life actually begins.

Naming material nature as the womb and himself as the one who plants the soul within it grounds an abstract process in something concrete and familiar. Real imagery replaces abstract description.
