Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 9, Verse 17

I am the Father of this world, the Mother, the Sustainer, the Grandfather; the Purifier, the one thing to be known, the syllable Om, and also the Rik, Sâman and Yajus.

The list keeps expanding here, father, mother, sustainer, even the sacred texts themselves, all named as real, not symbolic.

This isn't decorative language, it's a real, deliberate claim that nothing on that list stands apart or separate. Each role is described as genuinely filled, not merely referenced.
