Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 11, Verse 50
Sanjaya said: So Vâsudeva, having thus spoken to Arjuna, showed again His own Form and the Great-souled One, assuming His gentle Form, pacified him who was terrified.
The return to something familiar happens here in real, careful stages, not all at once.
Krishna shifts first to the four-armed form and only then to the gentle two-armed one, easing Arjun back rather than snapping the moment shut. Real compassion shapes even the pace of this transition.
