Deluded by these states, the modifications of the three Gunas of Prakriti, all this world does not know Me, beyond them, and immutable.

The confusion described here isn't really about lacking information, it's about something actively clouding the view.

This names the real obstacle directly. It isn't that the truth is hidden somewhere hard to find, it's that these three qualities actively obscure it, which is a genuinely different, more active kind of confusion than simple ignorance.
